I’ve used these formulas to figure out credits due for volume discounts in Network Expense calculations.
The following example shows how we can add 1 year, 6 months and 15 days to 1/15/2008.
The formula is =DATE(YEAR(B1)+1, MONTH(B1)+6, DAY(B1)+15) … where (B1) equals 1/15/2008.
