How to transform a PowerPoint presentation into a YouTube video
Yesterday, I showed you how to narrate a PowerPoint. What if the PowerPoint was too big to send? or what if you wanted to embed the presentation in a blog or a website?
I just found Authorstream a free service that turns your PowerPoint into video.
- Create an account - fill out required fields and click “Register.”
- Select “Upload your first PowerPoint file”
- Find the saved file on your local drive
- Fill in Title, Description, Language, Tags, Display (Private or Public), and Category
- A private presentation requires that viewers have an account and you’ve selected them as Contacts
- Click “Upload Presentation”
3. Authorstream sends a confirmation e-mail notifying when the presentation has been uploaded
- View “My Uploaded Presentations”
- The code to embed the video on a blog; upload to YouTube; download as a video file; or view in iTunes is available
- The link to the presentation is available to share
