Use the Fill Handle to Copy/Paste in Excel

If you work with mounds of data, then using advanced keyboard functions is a job requirement.

For example, double clicking the fill handle (the little square in the lower right corner of the highlighted cell or series of cells) will copy

After the double click, C1 is copied thru C25.

Before moving on, take advantage of the auto-fill options menu (that automatically appears).  Click on the menu drop down and select “copy cells,” “fill formatting only,” or “fill without formatting.”
