Donate to Charity with your Mouse not your Wallet

Is the recession impacting how much you can give to charity?  Here are a few sites that will donate on your behalf, without costing you a cent:

1. Go Red with Campbells will donate $1 to the American Heart Association if you vote on which Nicole Miller designed dress Jane Krakowski will wear to the celebration of American Heart Month.

2. The Animal Rescue Site’s sponsors will donate when you click, based on display ads from  site sponsors. 100% of the money from these advertisers goes to Animal Rescue charity partners , who fund programs to provide food and care for rescued animals.

Sponsored by the same group:

  • You can give 1.1 cups of food to the hungry by clicking on the Hunger Site.
  • You can help a woman in need of a free mamogram by clicking on the Breast Cancer Site.
  • You can help a child in need get healthcare by clicking on the Child Health Site.
  • You can help a child in need attain literacy by clicking on the Literacy Site.
  • You are help protect 11.4 square feet of rainforest by clicking on the Rainforest Site.

3. Click on Global e-Inclusion Movement to donate 0.05 Euro towards the cost of resources and activities (e.g., training, equipment, etc.) supporting the development of ICT for education projects in poor areas of the world.

4. Click on HungerFighters.com to donate food.

5. Click on “plant a tree” on Land Care Niagara to help plant trees.

  1. I’ve been clicking on #2 for years. Other sites come and go. I particularly like the Campbells Soup site.

The best way to find these is to search on “click charity” or “free donations”. If you find any good ones, post them here and I will add them to the blog.
