I’d like a free suit with that Lay-off …

Worried about losing your job and you need a new interview suit?  Then Jos. A Banks has the perfect risk free deal for you.  If you are impacted by an involuntary job loss before July 24th and you file for unemployment, Jos. A Banks will refund $199.  It’s like Hyundai’s Return Your Car program, only you don’t have to buy a car.

THE RISK FREE SUIT

The Program: If you buy a suit from Jos. A. Bank during our $199 Sale from March 16, 2009 through April 9, 2009, and you lose your job during the period from April 16, 2009 through July 1, 2009, Jos. A. Bank will rebate the price you paid for the suit, up to a maximum of $199, and you may keep the suit.

The Rebate: The maximum rebate is $199, even if you purchased a suit at a higher price. Your rebate will be less than $199 if you purchased your suit for less than $199. If you purchased more than one suit, we will rebate the average purchase price of all the suits up to a maximum of $199. Your rebate will be made in the form of a check mailed to you. We will not rebate any costs of shipping, alterations or sales tax. For purposes of this Program, we will treat the purchase of a coat and pants from our Suit Separates collection as the purchase of one suit, but we will not rebate the cost of any other products.

Documentation: We require four documents in order to process your rebate:

  1. Your original Jos. A. Bank sales receipt showing the purchase of at least one suit from March 16, 2009 through April 9, 2009.
  2. A copy of the notice from your employer that your employment was terminated involuntarily during the period from April 16, 2009 through July 1, 2009.
  3. A copy of your application for state unemployment benefits.
  4. A completed Jos. A. Bank Risk Free Suit Rebate Application.

Limitations: All requests for rebates must be submitted no later than July 24, 2009. One rebate per household only. You are only eligible for this rebate if your employment is terminated involuntarily. You are not eligible for this rebate if your employment is ended due to voluntary termination, resignation, retirement, leave of absence, the end of seasonal or temporary employment, death or disability, willful or criminal conduct, the end of an employment contract, or acts of declared or undeclared war. If you are self employed, a copy of your bankruptcy petition filed during the period from April 16, 2009 through July 1, 2009 is the only document acceptable in lieu of the notice from your employer.
