Google Contacts in Beta

Google launched a “new” contact management application.  Google Contacts is a standalone application that lets you organize and edit your contact list, even if you don’t use Gmail.  It’s a simple appplication without any bells and whistles … yet.  You can export or import contacts from a CSV file by clicking the “Import” option, located at the upper right portion of the Contacts page, print the page, edit contact details and organize contacts into groups.

  2. I haven’t used it but Google (true to form) offers an API to get to these contacts as well. One of the big benefits of using Google products is the relative ubiquity of the data. Think of a world where your company’s shared contacts are also accessible in Salesforce…
