Keeping current on updates for all of your software is extremely time consuming but necessary if you want to save time using the most current version of software. (Updating to Microsoft 2007 is the exception to the save time rule)
I just stumbled across RadarSync - a free service that checks all of your software and then provides a list of software that needs to be updated. It took less than a minute to download the free version. And Radarsync didn’t even require that I register with my email address.
It took about a minute to scan my computer, and then I learned that I had 17 programs that needed to be updated.
To update, I just clicked “Download newest version” button and voila! my software is current.
