Boy Genius reports, “Possible new iTunes 9 screenshots depict Facebook social playlist integration, third-party device support.” Check out Boy Genius’ blog for screenshots that depict the new feature in iTunes9 ability to create a new playlist and then share it on Facebook. The Facebook entry that subsequently appears on the user’s FB wall will include an iTunes link, presumably pointing to the shared playlist found on an iTunes page.
It would be very cool to effortlessly share song lists … you never know what you might discover. But on the other hand, I am skeptical … Apple isn’t exactly leading the pack in playing nice in the integration space.
