Death by PowerPoint? Don’t blame the tool. There are lots of ways to add fun to a PowerPoint presentation.
In this example, we are looking at 3 sales charts. The first shows sales declining; the second chart shows sales growing; and the third chart shows sales growing by a lot.
What if you wanted to present a series of emotions to go with each chart?

Microsoft has free clip art that you can add to your presentation, to make it more visually appealing.
On the view menu, select the drawing toolbar.
On the drawing toolbar, select More Autoshapes.
On the Clip Art menu, search for smiley faces. Click on any clip art and it will be inserted into the presentation.
Next, add animation, you can control when and how the Clip Art appears in your presentation. In slide show, select the Custom Animation menu.
Then, click “Add Effect”, “Entrance”.
You can choose any entrance. I selected, “Sling” and set the animation to start “On Click” (when the presenter clicks the mouse)
After repeating this process for each of the slides, my presentation looks like this:
