UGH! Don’t you HATE it when Excel second guesses you … and is wrong? This happens all the time when you have a file with emails or web addresses. Excel assumes that you want a hyperlink.
To turn off this nasty function:
- Tools>Auto Correct, uncheck the box next to “Internet and network paths with hyperlinks”
