Annualized growth trends show that Safari and Chrome are rapidly gaining market share while I/E (Internet Explorer) is losing market share at a rapid clip. Internet Explorer’s market share dropped from 79.2% in 3Q07 to 67.1% in 3Q09. (How would you like to be that product manager?)
I guess those Mac commercials are working … and, Chrome is simply awesome.
2010 will show even more changes after Windows 7 is released. Holiday sales will mean more purchases of Windows 7 computers and Apple’s new OS Snow Leopard will be adopted by more users. Google Chrome will also be widely available on new computers.
