You can Embed a Video in PowerPoint without a link …. but, when you launch the video it will use your local video player. It’s not ideal, but it will save you the risk of the Video not playing when you email it.
How to Embed a Video in PowerPoint as an Object:
Insert > Object > Create from file
In PowerPoint 2007, click the object button
Then, click the radial button next to “Create from File”, select the file on your computer, and then click ok.
When the object is inserted, you will need to activate it using Custom Animation. Click Custom Animation > Add Effect > Object Actions > Activate Contents
