It’s easy to change zeros to dashes in excel 2007, just select the numbers format on the Home Tab.
Then select Custom Category, Type: _(* #,##0_);_(* (#,##0);_(* “-”_);_(@_)
When you do this anytime you enter a zero a dash will appear.
